Hello family and friends! Thank you for visiting my website. I have been nominated by my teacher, Barbara Dietrich, to represent my school, Overhills Middle, and community as a member of the Junior National Young Leaders Conference in Washington D.C. The Congressional Youth Leadership Council nominates exceptional students from around the country to attend this educational program. I have added a sample of our itinerary for your review. As you can see, this will be a powerful experience, enabling me to meet or interact with many of todays leaders.

I am so excited to have been given this opportunity for a unique life-changing experience. I need your help and that is why I have created www.AlexusGoesToWashington.com. My participation in the Conference depends on whether I can raise the conference tuition of $1890. This amount does not include the airfare costs to and from Washington D.C. so I am also raising money for that. I am investing every dollar I can of my own money to make sure I don’t miss out on this.

I am hoping that my family and friends will consider assisting me with some of these costs. In order to secure my seat at the Conference for the week of July 26-31, 2009, my full tuition must be paid no later than July 26, 2009. Your support for my request of sponsorship is greatly appreciated.
